About CHILD Montessori -- Staff
The Montessori Certified staff at CHILD Montessori has had a combined experience of more than 160 years of Montessori teaching for our four classrooms. Most classrooms have two certified teachers and all have one or more or aides to assist the teachers. Aides are not certified and work as helpers under the teachers. Some of our aides are interns in the process of becoming certified teachers through a training program.
The staff represents several different training programs. All of the training programs represented at CHILD are accredited and recognized internationally. It is our belief that this diversity enriches our program greatly since we are able to discuss and compare the pedagogy and philosophy from each training group to continue to refine our understanding and practice of the method. The staff also receives continuing education yearly.
